Ich freu mich über jeden kleinen Puffin der im Forum landet, hoffentlich habe ich am kommenden Mittwoch und den folgenden 4 Tagen ein wenig Glück. Denn dann bin ich dem Kindheitstraum einen Schritt näher gekommen.

Thanks all. Tobias, this was taken last weekend (May 2nd) so the wait was due to the 2009 shots being processed ;) Not so many birds in May, Terns still waiting to nest and puffins sleeping in their holes. But some shots were possible and the weather was very good! I wish you good light in June, maybe I will fly back for some more.... :)

You let us wait almost three months, before posting the next puffin.
This one is just as cute as the others. The light and structure of both the black and white parts of the bird are great.
And the composition is fine as well. I would not know a lot to change.

When have you been to Farnes this year? I will be going first weekend of June, and I hope to find tons of nesting puffins, hopefully without rain...
