What a wonderful shot !
I love the yellow BG and the perch, the only nit I have is that the bird is slightly facing away.
Would be better if we would have seen a head turn in our direction.
However, still a very good RBS shot :)

first of all welcome to this (as you describe it) great forum. And it indeed is great, with a quite high quality standard.

Anyhow:

Your picture is a very good start in this forum.

No doubt, that it is technically on a very high level.

But also in regards of the composition I like your photo a lot.

The main diagonal gives the picture the nessecary tention. The backgroung is calm but not just one color, very good.
Last but not least, the bird is placed optimally into the picture and has a nice shining eye.

Hope to see mor pictures of this suberb quality from you ...

I wonder if this would be the only answer in english, or if this forum has the potential to grow to an "internationel" forum.
