Ich übernehm' das mal so in Englisch ... ;) Before I visited the Olympic National Park in 2014 for the first time, there were lots of reports of a horrible desease among the starfish on the US-Westcoast which actually kills most of the sea stars. So I was even more happy, that we could experience all the beauty of these fascinating purple and orange creatures, because it seemed, that there are still countless healthy starfish alive. But of course, I have no idea how the coasts looked like before the outbreak. In this image I tried to capture the behaviour of waiting motionless until the next flood comes in, no matter whether the waves break over them.
