Tobias. The 5D will be sold. The 1DsII is my landscape camera and all rounder for travelling. The 50D was bought as I gain 1.6x crop but keep a high resolution image as with the 1Ds...plus it is faster and has a 16 frame buffer (1Ds has 10 frames buffer). Really, the 1Ds is too slow for birds ;) 50D is a great camera, AF is good, images are sharp and clear but can suffer from reduced dynamic range at higher ISOs.

I like these two cuties, although it is probably not your best Puffin pic, if you don't mind me saying so.
But say, what happened to your 5D, and the 1DsMkII? How come you are using a 50D now? And are you happy with it? I am considering to get it as a second cam, if anything happens to the other one, while on holidays.
Are you happy with the AF of the 50D? Or is it as slow as the 5D's?
